Mr Rodbolt. My engine is a 1991 225HP 2.6lt TXRP or (BETO asia pacific ) Carbed model. Which wires on the TPS do you take the voltage reading off to set its position with throttles fully closed?...and from reading in previous posts i see that the reading has to be set at 0.5volts...is this correct?...cheers:)

first drop the Mr. I work for a living :)
out of memory i cant remember on that old model.
black is ground, one of the other leads is a 5v reference, the one that is not ground or reference is the pickoff voltage. once you establish your reference is ok, then check/adjust the pickoff to .5v. make sure that throttle is fully closed not in the idle speed position.
