Well long story short I sold the jet boat to get something bigger.
I have never ran an I/O before and forgot that i had this big thing hanging from the bottom of the boat. We got stuck pretty good had to be pulled off, good thing it was at night and we were going slow. After we got pulled off I ideled it back to dock and tied up for the night. In the morning took her out and got the temp up to 240 and shut her down, got towed in and pulled the boat. I know i need to replace the pump in the out drive ( alpha 1) but i just had a question. Running the motor on the muffs. Doesn't this force water into the drive making it impossible to tell if the pump and impeller are shot?
Thanks for any help and look out for that mud...
