Looking to purchase a new sounder/gps. Been looking at the LM32O or Garming 168. My question is this, the boat came with a hummingbird low end sounder. When I decide on the unit to replace it I want to move the hummingbird to the bow and possibly use either a trolling motor xducer or just leave it on the transom and add the new one on the other side of the motor. Lowrance seems to believe that there will be problems with interference as both are 20khz units. Any one out there running this sort of setup?? Do I need to put the other xducer on the bow mount trolling motor??

Thanks,

SingleShot

Using two sonars on the same frequency is like trying to listen to one woman at a cocktail party.
