Mustang Runabout
I have an old fiberglass mustang runabout. I want to chop out the anchor well and replace with a remove able hatch. Will this jeopardize the structural integrity of my boat. Keeping in mind i know not to cut through the curves and strengtheners underneath. Also i would like to put a kill tank in the floor. It is sealed fiber glass will this do the same. as you can see up the front the anchor stick out. id like it to be casting deck if possible and with a removable hatch so i can i utilize the wasted space up the front. im also looking at putting a forward mount triangle petrol tank, and havin a 2 inch mesh cage sittin above it n maybe up one son for storage purposes. so all loose items that r not in constand use can be stored up there through the hatch. it is very back heavy atm n i think the weight up the front will do it some as well as free up some storage up the back.
