What do you mean it won't crank over? To me that means the starter isn't turning the motor over in which case the stator has nothing to do with it. How about a little more info.
Sorry I ment starter. I took if off and tested it and it was fine. I put it back on and whin it cranks its like it dosent want to move fast enough. Also it dosent always turn oner the starter. do you think it can be the connections? or maybe the starter silanoied. i dont think i spelt that right
Take your battery cables off at both ends. Examine them for swelling or weak spots, then scrub all connectors shiny and reconnect. Corrosion at connectors and even in the cables themselves is the most common cause of your trouble.
