Restored in Jan./Feb of 2008. Replaced the Johnson 115hp (1971) wit a 1989 88hp Evinrude SPL with power trim and tilt. The 115 ran good but had a stretched connecting rod. (2 washers on the spark plug to keep from closing the gap)
Stripped the deck and hull above the water line to bare alum. The cabin sides are covered in vinyl and were orange, dyed to burgandy to match my truck. Tinted all cabin windows Extreme limo black and had a new cabin windshield madeout of tinted plexi-glass. The dash boards are made from cutting boards from wal-mart.all new carpet inside and out. Teleflex gauges, Cobra ship to shore, Dual AM/FM/CD. Cabin and Cockpit lights.
