I got this for my 19th birthday(2007). First object in my name (my first car wasn't even in my name). Was told it floated and ran the motor in a test tank. Sounded fine to me. I didn't get a chance to get it in the water that summer due to me working practically everyday so in my spare time I started to restore it because the day after I got it the fiberglass floor split and cracked.

Late summer 2007 I ripped out the flooring first with a dremel then moved to a hammer and ended up using a grinder. Note to self: Wear long sleeved shirts. It was hot outside so I wasn't wearing a shirt- That was painful. Never again. Anyway, Floor was replaced. Will be posting more pictures as soon as I can shrink them down to the right file size.

Great boat, solid and has a great V for that wind chop. Congrats keep the photos coming of the work.

Nice job on cutting it out, looks like a fairly straight forward process to replace that floor/deck.
