Well, since Dave Abrahamson pressured me into it, here it is:<br /><br />While restoring my 1964 whaler, I was having a heck of a time putting the rubrail insert into the channel.....I was trying to slide it in...Would go about 4 feet and then I just couldn't push anymore...like trying to push a wet noodle.<br /><br />Well, 6 year old daughter comes over (she's in the yard playing with friends) and begins to tell me that I should take it out and then shows me how to install it....<br /><br />I ended up using a rubber mallet and tapping it in following her directions...<br /><br />The sad part is now she goes around telling everyone she had to show Dad how to "fix" the boat!<br /><br />OK, I've admitted it

KeltonKrew, I guess you now know that you have passed the pinnicle (or pichnocle)of your success. Normally little kids think their fathers know everything. When the kids are in their teens (15-17) they think dad is a complete moron. When the kids reach their 20's they realize that dad knows quite a bit. The only question they have is how did dad get so smart in only 3 years?<br /><br />Of course, your daughter sounds more advanced than this. She may have the opinions of a teen!

does this mean I'm on the 6 step program now <br /><br />and I'm keeping my daughter away from the computer.....They were on the iboat chat one night....boy what a sight!
