My 9.9 carb on my merc is not getting enough gas

how do I go about checking the high speed jet to see if it is blocked, checking the float valve, and checking the fuel connections that was mentioned in my previous post.<br /><br />thanks, <br />Brad Morris

You will need to remove the carb from the engine .Take it apart completely.Clean it. Inspect the needle and seat and the various jets and primer passages.Set the float level and then put her all back together.Fire it off .Let it warm up,then set the idle mixtures.Simple as that.
