I do not have a lot of pics since my house got broken into a little while ago and all the pics I had were on my lap,So this is what i have for now,
I live in the caribbean And came across this little boat that I fell in love with.
It reminded me of my childhood days. like time had stood still and she had been waiting for me.
after talking to the owner( 3d) and doing a inspection we decided a price and I bought her( and do a major restore.)
Transom soft,deck also (everything underneath)
She is a 18ft.catalina dorsett cabin cruiser.
So I brought her to the boatyard were I worked and agreed with my bosses that I could work on her on the weekend and my freetime...
Thats what I have been doing the last two years,I have her in my backyard now since the boatyard closed down,Too bad I do not have all the tools at hand like I used to but,Shes allmost done anyway..
So I ripped the the sole and stringers out,replaced stringers with honeycomb ones.
Ripped the transom out replaced that too,
Built a pilothouse
refurbished the cuddy cabin.
I work on her when I can ,Got a lot of toys to put on her.
I plan to use her mostly for fishing but also for cruising with the wife along the coast (leave my dauchter at grannys house) anyway her she is ...
