I have a 91 Bayliner. It has the force 120 engine in it. It runs ok when first put in the water but after I go out and cut it off its hard to get it to start back up. In the driveway on muffs it starts everytime I start . It also has a slight miss when idling in the driveway. Any suggestions would be appreciated

Welcome to iboats Jay.

A very common problem the last few years.

I would bet a step dinner that the fuel pump needs to be rebuilt.
Easy to do, with cheap parts kit right from Mercury dealer. About $20.

The problem is that the diaphragm inside the pump wears out, gets holes, or tears.
When you shut the motor off, fuel in the pump drains through the holes and into the crankcase and causes a flooded condition when you restart the engine.
