My day at the Lake!

Ok so today we go to our favorite lake beautiful day, a little breezy but a great day in the making, I drop the boat in the water wife pulls the boat off the trailer and assumes her position in line for passenger pickup while I go park the truck and trailer. I get the truck parked and thought...Maybe it would be a good idea to put the floaty thingy on my spare truck key and leave my full set of keys in the truck rather then risk the floaty thingy not be able to hold the full set of keys on top of the water, I don't need to have my full set anyway, makes sense so I do it! as I leave the truck I lock it up with the old spare key lights blink I got the floaty thingy on were in business!! Go down to the dock and the wife sees me and right before I catch my pride and joy being driven by the love of my life I toss the key and floaty thingy towards the floor at the helm like I always do then look down and catch my beloved boat...and that's when it happened.. I push the boat out of the slip and jump in taking notice that my wife and stepson are reaching over the far side of the boat for something in the water, my stepson comes up with my key and floaty thingy, I'm like WTF? Apparently the part I didn't take into account was the difference in weight between the spare old key by itself and the full set of keys as to how it relates to aerodynamics and a gust of wind going across the windshield of my boat and into the drink it went!!

Afterwards the day was wonderful kids did a little bit of tubing provided I promise not to toss them since the water here in Colorado is still pretty COLD!! We left Pueblo it was 82 degrees when we got home in Castle Rock(80 miles north of Pueblo) it was 52 degrees and sprinkling rain, so I got to cover my boat myself while everyone else put more clothes on

I bought a Lotto ticket today also!!
