My dogs did there job.

I've never been so happy to have dogs as I am now.
I have 4 chihuahua's (They can make a lot of noise) an CJ, she's a German shepherd mix that is always ready to defend her territory against anything or anyone.
Last Thursday night/Friday morning (3 or 4 am) My dogs started barking until they woke my teenage step-daughter that was alone at home.
She peeked out to see two punks standing in our driveway. When they saw CJ trying to claw through the patio doors to get at them they left.
It turns out it was the same two guys that were caught two days later for b&e's and shooting the windows out of moving cars on the hwy.

Glad you're daughter is okay. I've got two of my own. It creeps me out to think what can happen to a teenage kid these days, especially my girls.

There is no security system that can replace a territorial dog. Our Beagle is the same way. Mind you if they brought some food for her !!!!

As already said "DOGS RULE" and that statment stands true all thru the ages what animal that you can keep in your home will detur invaders and warn you at the same time? Buy that girl a steak or a big soup bone she earned it!

When my girls were young we lived in a private faimly owned neighborhood that had 3 rottweiler who roamed the property, and needless to say we never ever had any problems.
