Got lots of those channels down on Sabine River by Mauriceville to Orange, jtexas, give them a shot if you get down that way, full of bass up to 4 lbs.
you can't beat frog or rat fishin'. even though hook-ups are few and far between, the adrenaline rush when you see that weed mat move, and wait patiently for that blow-up, makes it all worth it. The few fish that make it to the boat are just a bonus.
