My hubs don't have a seal?

I don't think my hubs have any seal? I also noticed that they only have one bearing per hub. Most of the new ones comes with a seal and two bearings. See photos of all the component to my hub assembly at the following thread.

There is a washer that presses against the spindle end.

The rear bearing and seal is still probably in your old hub.

I took both hubs apart right down to the spindle. Both are the same. No second bearing and seal.

they dont just fall out, they need to be correctly tapped out with a hammer and a punch. like bondo said, degrease everything and you will see it in there.

I found it thanks. Can someone confirm that the spring side of the seal faces the inner bearing?

sounds about right. When you have the seal installed and you look at the back of the hub, you should not be able to see the spring.
