My Johnson RUNS!! Thankyou all

Hi all, I just thought I might tell you guys that I finally got my 4hp Johnson seahorse reassembled. And it works!!! It was so amazing when after 3 years of being in pieces it started on the 2nd pull. It runs great got me on my 9ft tinnie on to the plane and idles at incredibly low RPMs. It is an amazing motor that I rebuilt after it seized.

It was a long journey that I couldn’t have completed without the help of the guys on this forum. Many times over the past 3 years I have asked questions that have been helpfully answered by the members of this board.

Thankyou to everyone you gave me help, cause at the start I was a complete novice now I know everything about my motor.

That's a fine running motor! I had an Evinrude like that. Many consider it to be the finest small engine ever built due to the two piston design.

Congrats on bringing it back to life!

sounds good but seems to be slow to responded to the throttle. as if the link n sink is out a little.
