Well guys its been a fun year but my kaboat sprung a leak and its to big of a pain in the butt to fix. I decided this week to call it quits on inflatables. I realize I bought a cheap inflatable but I just cant get myself to buy and expensive hypalon boat and see it ruined by the first tree stump I hit in the river. I never thought I would do it but today I bought a Mastercraft wakeboard boat. I did my best to stay away from a gas guzzling motor and the dreaded trailer but in the end I just want to be on the water with no worries. Its been great reading all of your post but all parties come to an end. See you on the Mastercraft forum. I bid you adieu. Gwozhog

Wow, yes, if you don't mind can you share some details. I'd like to know what happened as I now own a Saturn boat and it's reliability will be of great concern to me. I have to be willing to bet my life on it!! I have hit things with my Mercury Quicksilver inflatable and did no more damage than an unsightly rub mark/ surface scratch (the length of the boat)... which eventually went away. A non repairable rip/ tear is no bueno!

On a separate note.. congrats on the other boat!!!

Hi, I sent you a PM, but I may be interested in buying your damaged Kaboat...what exactly is the damage to it?

Thanks.
