She needs carpet, plywood doors/lids, new wiring, lights, and transom so far. I'll know if I need to do the stringers once I start on the transom

We have made some progress and now it's time to start getting the materials needed for this project.

Ok I have a Question what's the best way to get the transom out. I'm guessing I need to cut out the floor/deck in the back? How far should I cut back from the transom?

You can start with 2 ft. BUT...Don't be surprised if you find that the decks substructure(Stringers and Bulkheads) are in need of replacement as well, which will mean the entire deck has to come off to get access to that.

Yeah from I have read from other posts this might be a stringers, transom, bulkhead, foam, deck, project.

OK, I kinda thought that's what it was. Sande Plywood is INTERIOR plywood so it's not really a good brand to use for your boat. You need AC Ext. Grade plywood. It's made using 100% waterproof glue. It won't LOOK as nice but will work better for MarineUse.

You will need more than 5 gallons of Resin.
Well I wanted 15gal but with all the other material I've gotten this week has my wallet a little thin. I'm ordering another 5gal on Monday. So from what I have read so far I'll need at least 10-15gal of resin. All the material that I'm getting I'm using a list of material/equipment needed for a 16' boat with 4 stringers that you had posted.

15gals is a good start. At first you'll use more resin than you need too. Most beginners do!!!! With Poly resin Less is Best!!! You only need to use enuf to wet out the CSM Or Fabric to make it go Clear. Any more than that is a waste. After several layups you'll start to get the hang of it and you'll use less resin. You'll be surprised how much Peanut Butter you'll need and that takes resin to. I'd guess about 3 gallons of resin will be used for your peanut butter.;)
