my motor looses fuel presure

Its good most time but if i park the boat fuel goes back down from fuel pump, filter goes clear. Anything i should checkout? The recirculating thingy in block looks like theres nothing in it. Also the motor sometimes stalls at lake while sitting at dock. Im going to check timing first time just need find timing light?

Don't mess with the timing, its not a simple task on an outboard.

As for the fuel problem and stalling:

Replace the fuel line and primer bulb, and get a fuel pump kit from Mercury and install it.
Then set the idle speed at 700rpm, in the water, in gear.

Don't mess with the idle mixture screw.
