My new boat - 94 Sunbird Corsair Cuddy 200

Well I picked up my new boat last weekend(new to me), this is not my first boat, but my first cuddy. It has the OMC 3.0 and the OMC outdrive, I have seen some folks reviews about the OMC's and some of the reviews are almost as bad as reading someone bashing the "bayliners". The boat I got was a kick***** deal, and the boat is in better shape than most newer boats. My post is mainly to see does anyone have any reviews of this boat that is constructive? I know some stuff about boats, maybe just enough to get me in trouble but would appreciate any comments, I don't want bashing just helpful hints on this boat. Thanks in advance always been help in the past.

find a mechanic that is familar with the omc unit. they are getting fewer and fewer. we only have one shop that will work on them. thats the best thing i can say about them.
