1979 skeeter wrangler. been outside for 3 years. carpets shot. paint is very dull and faded. any chance of a inexpensive restore on this boat??? recommended carpet glue??? any pointers???

Well I guess it is all relative......... I would personally concentrate on how the 115 runs, the electrical and check how sound the hull is. If everything checks out....... onto the refinish.

Strip the carpet, wet sand the hull and the carpet should be just about last. I have used the 6700 (and other's have too) from Home Depot which is indoor outdoor carpet glue and it seems to hold up pretty good.....and it's cheap ;)

thnaks for the reply. but when you say to wet sand the hull what do you mean? wets sand and repaint? wet sand and clearcoat?
