My new to me 16.5' Double Eagle

As stated in my other thread here http://forums.iboats.com/forum/gene...65-i-m-back-quick-question-regarding-new-boat id mentioned I finally got a new boat

Well here are a few photos
some of these are from before i took possession this was my father in laws boat
hed got a new boat and when i found out i said i wanted his old boat

From what i know its a 16.5' Double eagle he figures the hull is a 1981
The motors are both 1992 evinrude's
Main is a 70 horse and a 8 horse kicker

The 2 beach photos are from last year when we all took it to Lake Cowichan

Me with the boat this is essentially my 30th birthday present as i am turning 30 this year (wife says i finally got my way lol)



We took it for a quick cruise in the harbour this evening



and my daughter copying me holding the windshield



I will try and get some better photos of what i got soon and post back in this thread

A fine BC built boat! Double Eagles are known to be a High quality, well built boat. I used to own an 18 1/2 foot hardtop w raised cuddy and 4.3 I/O, and I really loved it!

I hope you and your family get years and years of enjoyment out of you new boat!

Took her to the lake today. She did great. Not to many photos but here's a couple for now



I need to paint my engine cover lol
Hopfully can find a perfect match. Part of the lower needs some touch up too



This is off my phone for now
