nice job! how did you go about mounting it? did you use metal backing plates or re enforce the area?

Thank you guys!
To mount it, I put a ? inches plywood board inside which is going from the front of the boat to the back and there are four fiber studs which join the side of the boat with the frame to reinforce it.

'bs ing' is the same as "joking". It's actually short for "bull sh*^ting".
I don't know a lot about wakeboard towers. I've seen a ton of them on boats. Why do wakeboards need them anyway? Looks like you did good solid work.

They are usefull to throw us off the water when jumping instead of being pulled in it!

Quite resourceful, and doesn't look too bad for being homemade. Have you used it yet? Do you take that bad boy out with no seats, or are you still working on it? How does the 90hp motor do for wakeboarding (if you've used it)?

Thank you!
I didn't used it yet because it's too cold but I am confident it will works great! I got four red seat of 1992 lumina chevy that I've fixed on black painted wood frame.. They were stored for the winter and I did not installed them yet. I'll post a picture when it's ready. Finally, the motor do a very nice job (for an outboard) combined with the ?W? shape of my boat, I was just missing some air to be able to do more tricks!

I finally tried it yesterday and it's really awesome!!! It's now easy to pop up the ?improved? wave (because of the extra weight's producing a bigger wave) side to side, will have fun this summer!

I can lift it off alone but we definitely have to be two to put it on the boat because its too large (about 6 feet wide, 5 feet height and 60 kg). The aluminum is a good alternative if you got enough money and got the abilities and the tools to weld it!

Re: My own wakeboard tower!

I've used 30 feet long of tubing and I welded it with an arc welder so it will do!

Actually looks good but I will make one suggestion I think you need to put some type of cap on those open ends of pipe to keep bees from making a nest for one and to help prevent rust for two. post the seat pics when you can.
