I bought this boat, a Marlin Aries 20, last fall. It runs really well but needs a bunch of clean up work. After gathering up parts over the winter all I needed was some warmer weather to get started, and a new digital camera. I managed to get all three over the past two weeks. I have posted some before and after pics of what has been done so far. I still have a long way to go but it should be ready for the water soon.

You can't see it but it is secured on the backside of the plate and there is a 1/4 of an inch gap between the plate and the wire. Thanks for the complement on the wiring.

Here are more pics of the boat. The interior is a total wreck, but I guess that is to be expected when completely rewiring everything.

Glad that is your mess and not mine. I just got the rebuild kit for out jet. now if the new job will let me alone to put it back together. Are you redoing the seats? Tell my sis I will be back for Kelceys wedding one way or another. good luck with the boat. yak at ya latter:cool: Kody :cool:

I will tell her HI for you. As far as the seats go we are going to have the front redone as soon as I get all of the wiring done. The other seats we are going to live with this season. Myself and a guy from work are going to build some new interior forms later this year that will look like a typical 70-80's jet. Kyla and I will then have the new interior covered over the winter. three things I am lazy can you make your pics a little bigger in photobucket before you post them, two Glad you are putting that Patio to good use. Third trust me whe i say that boat looks to be in really good shape compaired to some we see getting kicked around in here.

I just had a driveway put in off of the Patio turning it into a carport. Wish I had a garage but don't have enough room to build one and can't close the patio in. :(

Never thought of that as it isn't really a "fishing" boat. You do have a point, however. :D

Just had a thought.....build a platfrom where the front seats are and add a trolling motor and livewell. That would make one very fast fishing boat. LOL:eek:
