My toon now looks like it has a grass skirt

Took the toon out of the water for the season, it was sitting in the river all summer long. Gee, now I see why it was slowing down! Guess next year I should get a broom or something and wipe the toons below the water line ever few weeks. I hope my electric power washer will clean it ( and the motor) up.

Ya,Ya, I know, you would slow down too if your bottom was dirty!

That's why I'm looking for a lake. (Without Zebra mussels)

wouldn't solve your entire problem, but the motor should be tilted up if you aren't using it. no need to let it sit in the water if it doesn't need to be in it.

I agree 100% with SMOKINGCRATER about raising the motor out of the water. My brother-in-law left his in the water for 3 years and it was amazing the corrosion damage done to the bottom end....Looked like "water termites" had gotten on it!!!
