Going to the boat launch is kinda like walking into a strange bar you never know who or what you'll get mixed up with.

We took the boat up north on our vacation. They have a single launch where you need to back across the road to hit the ramp. When your boats in the water your vehicle is just off the road.

There was a guy who had pulled out, before I arrived, and stopped directly in front of the ramp to tie down and clean up, there is a parking lot with 20 plus spots big enough for tow and trailer and half are open. Backing across the busy road is fun in of itself with all the traffic, but when you have to do it at an angle and try to see around his boat, it adds to the excitement.

I got it in "with the plug in" and this big ol boat comes charging in, they get to the dock and one guy whose 3 sheets to the wind, tries to jump off the boat, ends up doing the splits between the boat and dock, until another guy pulls him up by the shorts. Then a woman in the boat looks at my wife and says "Oh what a 'cute' boat" in a strange tone. My wife is still trying to figure out if she was trying to be nice or not.

The crazy thing is when we went to take the boat out a week later the same guy that had blocked the launch before, was sitting in the exact same spot. Maybe some day he'll learn or at least I won't be there when he does the same thing.
