I bought a 4hp Evinrude on ebay last year. The seller said it was a Seahorse model. The model number is 49B36D. This model number doesn't appear on any of the parts sites. The nearest I can find are 4904D, 4932D and 4933D which are 1979 models. The motor looks like it could well be a 1979 model and the exploded diagrams look consistent with what I see. Any idea why my model isn't listed and any clues as to which number to use when buying parts?

49B36-49B37 are 1979 4 hp rude. seahorse is johnson. here's where i found it

Any idea why this model doesn't appear on the BRP parts list?

Can I saely assume that all the major parts will be standard for 1979 models?
