Mystery Motor

I was given an old Evinrude outboard:<br />Model 9522C<br />Serial E11724<br /><br />I'd like to know what year, and size this motor may be. Also, is it worth throwing some new plugs into it and trying to get it to run?<br /><br />Thanks in Advance!!

Yes it sure is worth new plugs! <br />After that you will need new oil in the lower unit and a new impeller too.<br />Check for a good spark and see if the plugs get wet. I think it will start before you need to think about if the fuel is getting to the sparks. <br /><br />Good luck!<br /><br />/Bear
