Name that BOAT??? What is it?

Ran across a pal from Italy who told me he had a Sidewinder. First glance at it, I was sure it wasn't. Problem is, he doesn't know what it is.... Can anyone figure it out? I'm guessing he doesn't have a title or doesn't need one in Italy?? Who knows........

That doesn't look like any Winder I've ever seen. Or anything else for that matter. A mutant Ski Natique? Ask for the HIN. Usually the first 2 letters are an indicative shortened abbreviation of the manufacturer.

I agree that isn't a winder. The splash on the side looks similar to some of the winders, and it has some "close" looks. But it's not a winder or true clone for that matter...

Not trying to hijack the original post but I had a 16 foot Rally Sport built in Winter Haven Fl. Identical to a winder in every way except the windshield. Anyone know if Sidewinder (California Glass) opened a sister company in the east, or was this a knock off or clone?

Sidewinder was owned by a few, and there are MANY clones. Try visiting sidewinder-boats.com

After chatting with another pal. I'm pretty convinced that it IS a sidewinder. And 18 LoPro with some other windshield on it....

It does appear to be a Lo-Pro sidewinder design but hard telling since there were SO MANY knockoffs. I have a Canadian made Sidewinder I am restoring but mine is the 16 Cobra design
