Can anyone tell me what kind of boat we are looking at? Assuming that its not in great shape, rotten floors and all, what should the price tag be without motor and trailer?

if they give it to you for free it will be the most expensive boat you have ever owned.

Re: Name that boat.

The boat comes with two motors, one is an omc 120 horse motor. The other, I dont really know. I'm not really planning on keeping the boat...I'll most likely sell/give it away because I am in the process of fixing up a boat that I want that trailer for. I'd like to know what it is so I have an idea of what i'm trying to get rid of.

Assume the motors are shot too.

Seriously he should be giving that away, but price wise you should offer him the going scrap rate on the trailer (I know, you want that, just establishing a price point). The rest is just throw in to get it off his yard. He should consider that a favor. There's certainly a lot of negotiating factors there.

If you can pick it up for a hundred or so, part out what you don't want and take a saw to that hull and dump it (or heck, sell the hull/donate it to charity, w/e), you should be ahead of the game.

I'm sorry that doesn't answer your original question, I am no good with Tri Hulls.

I was thinking the same thing. Sounds like this is taking up room in his yard and he wants it out no matter what. The 120 OMC is seized up he thinks, but the other motor (I dont know what kind) apparently works or so he says. I'm thinking I will just put a free sign on for a while, if that doesn't work after a little while just dump it. All I really care about is the trailer.
