Hey all,

Just thought you all would appreciate this true story.

42 years ago, in a small town in southern Minnesota, a father of three was at the Legion Club hanging out with with his friends and decided to invest a couple of dollars on a raffle ticket for drawing.

That evening, he recieved that special message - your wife called, it's time... Immediately following reciept of the message, the grand prize winner was anounced and he won!

Later that night, that couple anounced the birth of their 4th child. The proud father came up with a name that was appropriate for the evening...

He won a Scott Atwood Outboard Motor, so he named that boy Scott

Allow me to introduce myself

My name is Scott (not Atwood) :)

Merry Christmas ;)

No, Scott-Atwater was bought up by McCulloch in the late 1950s, becoming Scott-McCulloch, and eventually just McCulloch. The chainsaw folks made outboards into the late 1960s before bowing out entirely...

- Scott
