I don't know of an easy or healthy way to remove bottom paint. I always wear a respirator while sanding anything, which is about the only way I know of to remove the paint. Is it an ablative?

They may sell it on iboats, I did not check. I am referring to the sheets that you apply to your boat and let sit for a week.

You could also use methyl ethyl ketone, but that is very dangerous stuff, but would certainly work.

You may also want to try using "aircraft paint remover" that is the name and it comes in a spray can that you can purchase at napa, the can has a picture of a 747 on it. You spray the stuff on and let it sit for 5 minutes, come back with a scrapper...

Ya gotta be carefull with stripper as many will eat gelcoat FAST :(

It needs to be gelcoat safe !!
