My findings; Nauticus Smart Tabs SX 9.5"X10" installed on my 1973 Sangster Savary 17' Runabout.
140 hp Mercruiser Sterndrive , 21P X don't recall (lolo) prop
Installation was a breeze, even comes with a dvd tutorial
Performance: before install my boat would have significant bow rise and kind of float down on to plane
running fairly bow high. In the wind, this would make her handling be somewhat of a handful
Somewhat of a struggle even.
After Install; She now pops right out and settles on plane effortlessly and runs with the bow much lower.
This has changed the entire handling of the boat to the better, the engine is thanking me with a couple
more MPH vs RPM (non GPS) and although not calculated it stands to reason I'll be using less fuel
for it's efforts.
The Wind, This is where they really shine, I can now track with less effort into head and side-winds
with much more confidence, not being pushed around near as much, Much less tiring on the
steering wheel also.
The one thing I have found is that reverse manouverabilty is drastically reduced.
I have no issue trading this one thing off for all the positive feedback
of their other attributes
