navigation aids... question

looking at the noaa charts:
in new jersey, barnegat bay across from little egg harbor - in the ICW by Long Beach Island between markers R"106" and R"108" there is a marker that says: Fl (2+1) R 6s 15ft 3M "LB" with the symbol ! ... can someone tell me what this means

also in the little egg harbor there are markers that say W OR "A", W OR "B" etc.
they mean ?

Fl (2+1) R 6s 15ft 3M "LB"

I think that means Flashing (2 long, 1 short) Red light, 6 second pattern, 15'/3m tall, marked "LB".

3 m is not 15ft tall..or long.. though,
3m = 9.84ft

Sorry...I missed Boydski's interpretation...the "3M" means that in clear weather, the marker can be seen from 3 nautical miles.
