Long shot, but does anybody know how to reset the hourmeter function in Navman sounders? Just repowered and I'd like to start the hour count again.
Thanks,
Jeff.

I assume you don't have the owner's manual. So I would suggest you do an online seach for a copy of it. Many manufactures post pdf files of their manuals on their web site.

Page 11 of the manual, section 3-4 states that the engine hours can be reset by pressing "menu" one or more times until the "Setup" menu is displayed. Select "logs" and then select the 3rd option "reset engine hours".

Re: Navman sounders

Thanks guys. Have downloaded the manual but it doesn't say how to do this, just to reset trip logs and total logs which I did. Also tried reseting to factory defaults. None of this worked.
Trophy, maybe you were looking at a different model, mine is 4150sx.
Might just give navman a ring tomorrow.

your correct. I have the 4500 model. Sorry that it didn't help, thought they might all reset the same way.

Jeff, have you posted this question on Fishnet? A nawman tech often frequents that forum. Also, navman have an excellent help desk, give um a call.

Thanks Danaruna. Didn't know of this Fishnet. I've posted the question there so see what happens. It may not even be possible but you never know till you ask.
