Necessary seals and gaskets when doing VST service

I'm getting ready to do the VST service on my Yamaha 2004 F 150 4 stroke. The manual says that the gaskets at the air intake and some O rings on various components that must be removed to access the VST are not reusable. Other people on here who have had experience with this say that for one the O ring at the top of the VST can be reused if care is taken when removed. Is this true for other gaskets and O rings or should I plan on replacing all seals, gaskets, O rings involved. My instincts tell to replace all.
