hi all, long story short,Motor slightly overheated a few weeks ago, steam coming from exhaust, quickly put to idle, started pumping water again, and putted her home.Ran fine at home for 10 minutes at idle whilst i cleaned it.
Pulled apart today and replaced thermostat, impeller, gaskets etc etc,Also replaced a broken timing/stator plate linkage.
just put back together, and it will fire and run for 5 seconds only, with a lot of fuel/oil in my water barrel and running out of exhaust, whole leg is covered in oil/fuel.
compression test, just showed 135 psi in both pots.
also noticed the adjustable stator timing plate is not moving with the throttle to its rubber stoppers,i thought this should be advancing with the throttle,is this correct.
