need 85hp yamaha trim/tilt information

Hi, I have a 1990 85 hp Yamaha outboard, model # CV85EL it did not come from the factory with trim & tilt. I am need information on what trim/tilt units will fit my outboard. Since they are terribly hard to find I need to know what other years and horsepowers will fit. This way I can efficently search for the part.

Also do I have to change the mounting brackets that mount the outboard to the transom to make the trim/tilt unit fit properly?

Lastly, if anybody has any idea of some sites to try other than ebay for a used trim/tilt like the one I need, please make suggestions. Thanks ahead of time for any assistance, for I really need help- Adam

Have you thought about looking for aftermarket units

Money is tight after building a new house and outitfitting a new boat for freshwater striper fishing , I have seen them on ebay for $200 but i just dont know what will fit. Yamaha motors.com dosent seem too have it listed in any diagrams just the bracket #s. A parts list would help If someone can direct me.

And if this is the correct model#, it looks like the only years are 90 & 91
and I have a feeling there are plenty of other parts that would need to be changed to make it work. But I have not tried to do this before.
