Hi all, I have a 1988 Starcraft 22' centre console V5, where is the best place to get a mooring cover?
Thanks!

Re: Need a boat cover

You will need to try your locasl boat cover specialist. Yea it sucks to pay the long dollar however you will end up with a good fitting cover that will last longer than a store bought one. Also if you have any problems with it, you have someone to turn to. In my lifetime I have had a number of custom covers made and while not happy with the cost, in the long run they were the best covers I have ever owned. Over the long haul, the production made fitall covers were OK at best, just never worked as well or lasted as long as the custom made one did. If mooring your boat in the water, a custom fit cover will be valuable in its ease to install and remove as well as being more water tite than over the counter covers.

Everything airshot said above is correct but can be reinforced by the fact that MOORING covers (as in the kind you can snap down when the boat is in the slip) are almost always custom jobs (with the small exception of new boats where you can buy one from the dealer as an option).
