Need a closed water cooling system

I boat a 1988 Seaswirl with a cracked block and head because the previous owner did not know much about winterizing. I bought a long block 5.7 and want to do a closed fresh water cooling system. Has anyone out there taken a raw water system and converted to freshwater cooling? Any reputable manufacturers you can recommend?

There are several manufacturer of aftermarket closed cooling systems. But you still have to winterize and engine, even if it has closed cooling. You still have to drain the heat exchangers raw water side, and the exhaust system and other coolers you may have. If you boat in fresh water, why go to the expense?

Yeah, with a new long block, that's the time to install one.

I did, I did . . .

"San Juan Engineering" and "SeaKamp" are the prominent aftermarket guys . . . I went with SJE, but they are both fine.

I ordered the kits through Michigan Motorz, like what Don mentioned.
