Need a little help rewiring dual fuel tanks to single guage

I'm trying to finish up a total rewire on my 18' Action Craft flats boat. I have dual tanks in the bow. I know that the pink wire is sender, brown is ground from each sensor. I am running the both grounds back to common ground on fuse block under console. I have also run both pink "sender" wire to the console area. Now I could use some direction. I want to use a switch (left or right tank) that is wired to my fuel gauge. The gauge has ground "G" (which I have sent to common ground on fuse block), "I" which is hot going to ignition switch, and "S" which should connect the guage with the wire coming from the (left/right) switch.

Could someone please confirm the type of switch I need (I assume a 3 prong) and to which prongs I connect the separate pink "Sender" wires and from which prong I run a single wire from switch to "S" on guage? I greatly appreciate your help as I try to finalize this project.

You do need a three terminal switch. The wire from each sender (pink) goes to the two outer terminals. The wire to the send terminal on the gauge connects to the center (common) terminal on the switch.

Thank you, Silvertip! I was not sure how to wire the switch. I always appreciate the quality feedback given here.

Thanks again.:):):)

As always silvertip is correct, just to ad tho you'll want a SPDT or single pole double throw switch.
