need a new prop

i have a 18' celeberity openbow whith a mercuser 305 ci 228 outdrive. wot is about4300rpm whith a 14.5 18p 4blade prop. I would like to put a new prop that would give my boat more of a hole shot and the boat up on plane faster. so do i go up or down in pitch

You would go down in pitch but you have more trouble than a prop change.
You are allready far below typical prop size for your motor/boat combination.
For max speed you would likely run a 21 or 23" prop with speeds approaching 50.
At 18 inches you are in skiing/tubing prop territory with over reving a real possibility.
