Need a OMC manual

Hello folks,
im looking for an OMC Cobra service manual for my 87 4.3 litre setup. I bought the SELOC, what a waste of money. Ive heard the only way to go is to get the one by omc, I just cant find the right one the closest ive got was an 86 copy but i need a 1987 copy. Any good suggestions?:confused:

yes i tried ebay thats where i found the 1986 copy. i need one for 1987. i wish i wouldve discovered iboats before i bought that stupid SELOC manual, what a waste of money. Hey maybe i can return it...

I don't know OMC's at all, but it does look like there was a significant change in 1987 judging by how the manuals run through 1986. Do you know if a 1988 would work for you? 'cause here's one on Ebay; http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1988...ItemQQimsxZ20090924?IMSfp=TL090924189005r8338

Apparently it's printed on 14 carat gold leaf...:eek:

They are all pricey. Any item that is no longer being reproduced gains in value. EBay is really a good source for them.

I bought mine for 1976 from "searayman13". He has a large supply and his prices were best.

ALSO, DO NOT PURCHASE A CD THAT CLAIMS TO BE A FACTORY MANUAL, ESPECIALLY FROM MANUALMAN60. It is only a copy of the files that I posted for iboats.

PS I just looked at that link, and saw that it was searayman13. Send him a "ask seller a question". Ask about your year. He may just not have it posted. Also, I got mine from him, unlisted, because mine was beat up. I also paid alot less for it. Doesn't hurt to ask!!!

Hi,, I found my 1987 manual from ebay SEARAYMAN13 they have 1987 and up years available,, they are factory manuals,, often has new and used,, chek em out,,
