I've been told that Westbend only made the 16 horse power outboard (model 16902) in 1959 and no other prop will fit it. I'm
not sure how true that is, but would like some opinions on it.
Thanks

A fine looking motor.
16 and 18 hp use a 8 1/2 X 8 1/2 prop. 16 and 18 hp motors appear in 59-63 and possibly 16 in
56,57 at least model # 16902, 16912 in 57 and 16941 ,16951 in 57.
Pretty sure the 20 also uses an 8 1/2 X 8 1/2. at least the 66,67 20 hp Chryslers use 8 1/2 X 8 1/2.West Bend was purchased by Chrysler in 65.69-76 Chrysler uses the same drive pin 3/16 X 1 5/16 and same pitch 8 1/2 X 8 1/2.Whether the same shaft is a guess. I don't have 68 info.
Fairwinds Marina claims to have every Chrysler part.
