If you remove the prop nut and washer, you should see a size stamped on the hub; for example 13-1/4 X 17. That is the diameter and pitch.

Props for your motor are available in the prop section. All the Mercury in line 6 cylinder motors 90 thru 150 hp use the same props.

Depending on the size of your boat, I'm guessing that a 17 pitch would be a good place to start.

What is the elevation where you boat? That would effect the prop size.

The elevation in Twin Falls is 3745 ft, which translates to a loss of about 11 hp. So your 95 is actually a 84 hp motor, provided it's healthy to begin with.

If the boat has a working tachometer, that would be a big help. You want to prop the motor to operate within it's full throttle operating range; which in this case is 4800-5300 rpm.

A "1977 fiberglass boat" is not much of a description. A picture is worth a thousand words. :)

Is it a 15 ft or a 18 ft?

The title says it is a Fiberform 16 ft open boat but the shop I just got screwed at says it is an 18 ft Fiberform I don't know if that makes a difference or not.

A prop shop could tell you what you have and sell you a replacement, or pay for the analysis and get on here and buy your prop.
