need a replacement for outboard hood

I have a 1986 120 h.p. Evinrude V4 VRO ,motor serial # E120TXCUR G1442751.

My outboard hood has mysteriously vanished.

I need to buy a replacement! Preferably used, will settle with new one, I think.

any mid 80's evinrude V4 cowl should fit. try ebay, tcoutbroad.com

Be sure to tell the sellers that the motor is a V4 looper with a split lower cover. The much more plentiful crossflow covers will not fit.

BTW, the model number you gave is for 1987.

You should find your cover fairly readily at salvage yards. Here is a partial list:
