need a tach and spring 1981 40 hp 2 cyl 2 stroke 6140511

need some help with parts just pulled power head and i am missing the spring on top of drive shaft and the part is nla any help would be greatly appreciated also would like to add a tach and need to know what kind or type would work

Do you have the pin?
Any alt driven tach will work.

Some of those units had helical cut gears so never had a pin.
