Hi all,
I bought this old 1979 Tom-Boy fishing boat. As you can see its pretty bad. I paid $275.00 for the boat, trailer, johnson foot control trolling motor, 2 minn kota 35 trolling motors, eagle fish finder, 4 fold down seats and anchor. I wanted an open boat with a tiller steer outboard. All motors and electronics work. Has the bow and stern light that work as well i have removed all from the boat. The whole boat was covered in carpet even over the top cap.

The boat is 14 foot 6 inches long and a 5 1/2 foot beam. The transom and the floor need to be replaced. I figured on doing a camo paint job.

Im wanting to make a crappie and stripper fishing rig out of it.

My question is, should i fix this one or junk it and look for a better hull?

Pictures attached

Thanks all

Hmmm... Up to you, but it's a fiberglass hull... Tear out all the wood and do whatever you want with her... Sky's the limit depending on budget, guts and time... At least there's not a shrubbery growing in it... So you could start with worse... LOL... Good luck...
