Need carb for 7.5 mercury 1364-8783A14

Just wondering if any one can help me.

I just picked up an old 1985 7.5 elec start that needs a 'new' carburettor. It seems the previous owner(s) didn't have a clue and managed to break this one after trying to get it to work. I've tried to fix it but feel really that I'm wasting my time, and will never be reliable.

If anyone has one, or knows of one even if its just the main housing please let me know

It seems these carbs may be the same as on the 9.9hp can anyone confirm?

i think you are right but cant be 100% I was told one time that the only diffrence between the 7.5 and the 9.9 where the jets in the carb

Seems the 9.9 are also NLA. Please if anyone has any ideas? The UK is utterly useless for this kind of stuff.
