3.0L Mercruiser, Mercarb.

Fresh premium fuel w/ heat added on top of 5 gal tops of old fuel from last year. Previously, she started missing about 30-45 minutes of run time. With the fresh fuel added, she ran better but started missing after 2 or so hours. Only misses under load. Starts fine cold/hot. Ran about 1/4 tank thru her on sunday.

Need to know the correct fuel filter to put in the fuel pump. I have the old style, filter on top of the fuel pump. Gonna replace it, along with the carb inlet filter, and add a water separating filter.

Not knowing what year your boat is I'll guess that it looks like this 87-89 3.0
Older 3_0 fuel pump carb.jpg

The part number for the kit is 35-49088Q2

The part number is the same if your pump looks like the one in the pic above. If your pump faces down and not up there is another part number. Engine serial numbers work great most times
